A Handicraft Skill Activity was conducted for the students of Classes 6, 7, and 8. Under the guidance of teachers, students created beautiful wall hangings using a variety of materials such as bangles, wool, embroidery threads, beads, mirrors, bells, and more.
The objective of the activity was to introduce students to basic crafting techniques and to foster creativity and artistic expression. The session was very well-received. All participants were actively engaged and showed great enthusiasm and imagination in designing their wall hangings.
Overall, the activity was a great success, and the students took immense pride in their unique and colorful creations.
Artificial Intelligence(AI) Skill

The Artificial Intelligence Skill Club session for Classes VI to VIII introduced students to the practical applications of AI in everyday life. Students learned about smart devices, virtual assistants, e-commerce, digital payments, and cloud computing. They explored how technologies like smartwatches, Alexa, and Google Drive use AI and the Internet of Things to function efficiently.
Engaging hands-on activities accompanied each topic. Students designed smart devices, role-played virtual assistants, created ecommerce charts, modeled digital payment methods, and set up Google Drive folders. The session was interactive and informative, encouraging creativity, digital awareness, and essential 21st-century skills.
Marketing and Commercial

The Marketing and Commercial Skill Module for Classes VI to VIII was conducted to introduce students to the fundamentals of branding, advertising, and product development. Equipped with coloured sheets, markers, and craft materials, the young marketers brought their ideas to life with enthusiasm. The activity fostered imagination, presentation skills, and an understanding of basic marketing concepts. From product creation to promotional strategies, students showcased their innovation and business sense.
The event was a vibrant and hands-on learning experience that turned classrooms into creative workshops. It not only boosted students’ confidence but also gave them a glimpse into the world of entrepreneurship.
Design Thinking

Vishwa Bharti Public School, Dwarka conducted a Skill Module Activity titled "Design a Newspaper" for Classes VI to VIII under the theme of Design Thinking.
The activity aimed to develop key skills like empathy, ideation, collaboration, and prototyping. Working in teams, students created themed newspapers with news articles, opinion pieces, ads, infographics, and editorials. They began by conducting surveys and interviews to understand their audience, defined a central theme, brainstormed ideas, created mock-ups, and refined their designs based on peer feedback.
Final newspapers were presented to a wider audience, and feedback was collected on their clarity, relevance, and visual appeal. The activity encouraged critical thinking and creativity, with students suggesting that more time and digital tools would further enhance the experience.
The event saw enthusiastic participation and creative output, making it a successful and enriching learning experience that promoted 21st-century skills.

Vishwa Bharti Public School, Dwarka, organized a skill-based activity focused on mass media to enhance students' skills in advertisement design and presentation.
In this engaging activity, learners were encouraged to create their own advertisements for a product of their choice. The activity was conducted under the guidance of teachers. It began with a brief introduction by the teachers, after which students worked on writing and designing their advertisements.
Following the writing task, students confidently presented their advertisements to their peers. The presentations concluded with an interactive question-and-answer session.
Since the activity was conducted in smaller groups, many students stepped out of their comfort zones, created impressive advertisements, and presented them with confidence.
This activity also nurtured students' curiosity around the upcoming Independence Day celebration. They participated enthusiastically and took pride in their creative efforts.
Financial Literacy

An interactive session on Financial Literacy was held to help students understand the basics of money management. They learned about saving, budgeting, banking, and how to open a bank account, including the KYC process.
Students explored different types of banks and accounts, and participated in a hands-on activity where they filled out cheques, deposit, and withdrawal slips. They were also introduced to the barter and Hundi systems from ancient banking practices.
The session concluded with a demonstration on identifying fake currency through key security features. It was an engaging and practical session that helped students gain valuable financial skills for the future.
