Shri SN Ganju Memorial Inter School Debate Competition Session 2020-21
Vishwa Bharati Public School, Dwarka organised an Inter School Debate Competition on 28th November, 2020 through Google meet platform. The school has set a mark that students not only enjoy but also learn loads from it. With the same stance, the competition was held in the memory of our erstwhile General Secretary Shri SN Ganju. The members of management and the eminent panel of judges, Dr. Priyanka Jain and Mrs. Komila Sharma also graced the event with their virtual presence.
The topic chosen for the debate was New Education Policy - will it foster the holistic development and economic growth as envisioned in our country? The school principal , Mrs. Prabha Gupta welcomed the chief guests, the judges, the members of management and the participants.
The debate commenced with a welcome speech by Mrs. Madhuri Misra followed by Ganesh Vandana. Participants from various schools in the vicinity took part in the competition and exhibited great rhetoric talent by showcasing their oratory skills with a lot of confidence. The two-hour long heated & intriguing argument was followed by the performances of the students of Vishwa Bharati Public School, Dwarka as the results were awaited.
The results of the competition are as follows :
Indraprastha International School, Dwarka bagged first position, both for as well as against the motion.
Vishwa Bharati Public School ,Noida and NK Bagrodia Public School ,Dwarka respectively stood second for and against the motion.
NK Bagrodia Global School, Dwarka and Vishwa Bharati Public School, Dwarka respectively were declared the third best speakers for and against the motion.
The overall rolling trophy was bagged by Indraprastha International School, Dwarka. The event concluded with a vote of thanks presented by senior academic incharge Mrs. Ranjana Gandhi.
S.N. GANJU MEMORIAL INTER-SCHOOL ENGLISH DEBATE AND EXCELLENCE AWARD CEREMONY, 8th NOVEMBER, 2019
VBPS, Dwarka commemorated the memory of Sh . S.N. Ganju, who created a legacy of imparting quality education in Vishwa Bharati Educational institutions by organizing the S.N GANJU Memorial inter-school English Debate and Excellence Award Ceremony , 2019 on 8th November in the school premises. The Solemn and Momentous occasion was graced by the benign presence of ACP Rajinder Singh , South west , New Delhi as the chief guest , esteemed members of Management Sh. M. L Nakhasi (RAC Member) , Dr V.K Ganju( Secretary , VBPS, Dwarka) and It was also graced by a panel of judges Ms. Anavisha Banerjee (Assistant professor, Bharati college) and Ms Saswati Banarjee (Associated with Navneet Publication) . Escort teachers with their participating team and proud parents of Master Abheet (winner of S.N GANJU EXCELLENCE AWARD) were among the other guests. The programme commenced with the formal welcome followed by the traditional lighting of lamp by the dignitaries. This was followed by devotional bhakti moment- Shiva bhajan and Ganesh Vandana School principal Mrs. Manju Duggal welcomed the guest, briefed everyone of the day's proceedings and wished the debaters good luck. The prestigious and much coveted award was conferred upon Master Abheet who excelled because of his excellent performance in Scholastic as well as co-scholastic areas. Chief Guest, Judges and School Principal took pride in doing the honours. Master Abheet in his speech thanked each and every one who touched his life so beautifully and helped him transform into a complete being. After the award ceremony, began the interesting debate on the topic Exams only measure the memory of students not their learning. Sixteen teams from Dwarka and NCR had participated enthusiastically. The results in different categories were as follows: Best speaker for the motion Palak Yadav, Indraprastha International School Best speaker against the motion Siddharth Indraprastha International School Best Interjector Manas Kapur, Sri Venkteshwara School. The Rolling trophy was bagged by Indraprastha International School. Event culminated with the presentation of vote of thanks by the activity coordinator Mrs. Nancy Raina followed by the National Anthem.

Vishwa Bharati Public School , Dwarka organized S.N. Ganju Memorial Inter School English Debate Competition and Excellence Award Ceremony -2016 on 24th November 2016 in the school premises. The event was embellished by the esteemed presence of honorable members , Dr V K Ganju , General Secretary of VBPS Institution, Mr Sudhir Shah, Honorable Advisor of VBPS Institution. They were also accompanied by the esteemed judges, Ms Ritu Malhotra , commissioning editor and Mr Shramana Purkayastha, Assistant Editor in school ELT division . The event was also witnessed by the proud parents of Shivam Shukla. The event started with lighting of lamp by the guests and dignitaries. A soulful performance on Ganesh Vandana was presented to invoke the blessings of God. It was followed by a welcome address by the Principal, Dr B.K Mishra who also declared the debate open. Almost 10 schools participated in the debate competition. The debating round was further followed by the interjection round. All the participants gave in their blood and sweat. A small filler was added by the VBPS band invoking cheer and refreshment among the audience after a long debating session. Further more , Raag Todi and Bhajan were also presented by the Music Department. It was followed by the Prestigious “S N Ganju Award for Excellence” ceremony in which Shivam Shukla of class XII – B was awarded with a cash prize of Rs. 7500 along with a gold medal and a citation by the honorable management members. The proud parents of Shivam Shukla extended their vote of thanks to the school. Further , The General Secretary,V.B.W.W.I. Dr V.K . Ganju and Honourable Advisor Mr Sudhir Shah inspired the students with their motivational speech. The most exciting moment for the participants arrived when the judges announced the results. The best speaker for the motion was bagged by Abivyakti Mishra of VBPS Noida and best speaker against the motion was won by Snigdha Basu of VBPS Noida whereas the best interjector was won by Lakshay Kaushik of Maxfort School, Dwarka. In the end , Vice – Principal Mrs Sadhvi Verma extended a vote of thanks on behalf of VBPS fraternity.
