Art Integrated Project

Education is a natural process
carried out by the child and
is not acquired by listening to
words but by experiences in the environment.

Art Integration is a cross curricular pedagogical approach that utilizes various aspects and art forms of art and culture as the basis for experiencing the learning of concepts across subjects.

As part of the MHRD’s ‘Ek Bharat Shresth Bharat’programme, Delhi is paired with Sikkim. Students of Classes IX and X engaged in Role plays, poetry writing sessions prepared video magazine, e-brochures, PPTs highlighting the demographic, socio cultural aspects of the state of Sikkim its culture, cuisine, economy, handicrafts and various art forms. The project given in each subject was educational and challenging testing the students’ intellectual abilities and their understanding of the different aspects of the state of Sikkim.
